congrats for surviving blocks! so now tt exams are over...perhaps we should go out together as a cca since there's a sch holiday on 7th july? its youth day :D

okay so basically this is a movie cum buffet event thing which we can attend together. it includes a movie, Hancock and lunch. yay. for only $10. hahahaha. and i think its eric hu's birthday the next day so we can make him treat us. k im kidding :D

Peer Tutoring

K, Emily has rescheduled some members' tutees for convenience, so that you guys will be teaching tutees of the same level/stream. So please take note of the changes! She has sent out a mail regarding the changes alr, so pls check it! And contact your new tutees if there's any.

Members who should take note of changes are: Jamie, Shu Jie, Winnie, Eric, Melissa, Vinette, Hui Yi, Song Yi.


Members should complete at least 20 hours for this peer tutoring program. If you have not, you can continue with the tutoring program in term 3.

National Day Dinnner, 2nd August

Location: Teban Gardens

Time: 7pm, Saturday

Details:

This is a dinner to celebrate National Day, organized by the West Coast CC. Some members will be part of the program comm for planning out parts of the program before the event. Other members will help out in other areas like ushering during the event etc. Pls ensure that you're free on this day! The event may end quite late, so be ready to stay (:

Connect Singapore, 8th Aug

Ok, this is quite urgent so pls take note!!! All ylep members will be involved in this event. To quote eric, its the biggest event in Singapore's history and we're part of it. Yay :D

Okay. So we'll be helping out either by being a motivator or logistics volunteer. Interviews will be conducted if volunteers wanna be a motivator/logistics volunteer. Pls check your emails for more details. There is a CV form attached, pls fill that up ASAP. And also pls call Ms Huizhen at 62594414 to arrange for an interview timeslot. Take note that its a walk-in interview, and pls remember to bring along your CV form.

Interview dates are from 10th to 13th June, slots are from 2pm to 7pm. When contacting Ms Huizhen, pls inform her which hourly slot you are available for.

Also, take note that you have to sign up for an account HERE in order to get your CIP hours from this event.

OCIP at year end

There will be an OCIP trip organized by Coast-to-Coast, a program by the West Coast CC. The destination has yet to be confirmed, but most probably either Cambodia, Myanmar or SzeChuan. It will be great if as many YLEP members can participate in this trip as it will be a great learning/bonding experience for us. Pls check your emails regarding OCIP plans and reply the mail ASAP if you're interested!

Okay, think tts about all for now. Rmb, now tt we're a CCA, members have to chock up a 75% attendance for MPS sessions, peer tutoring as well as for adhoc events. Pls do take note of all the updates and events that we're involved in for the months to come. Thank you!!
